Information Sheet: Twenty First Annual CAJUN CHRISTMAS 2011 Friday & Saturday DECEMBER 2 & 3 Jimmy Davis State Park. (AKA Caney Creek Lake State Park) Reserve a cabin or campsites online, OR call 1-877-CAMP-N-LA (877-226-7652). The spacious, two bedroom cabins $120/night, sleeps up to 8 people with 1 queen bed in one bedroom, 4 bunk beds in the other and 1 queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Cabins all have a fire place, full kitchen with coffee maker and microwave. There is also a four bedroom lodge that sleep 12 in case you want to bring the whole race team. This is a non AMA-sanctioned Just For Fun MSTA event and the idea is to relax, have fun, eat too much and ride. We don't care if you come in a four wheeler; the weather can be a bit cold and/or wet but there are always some hard core bikers who will brave the elements. After all, this is Louisiana: how cold can it get? But if the weather looks bad and you don't like to ride in the cold or wet pack family into your pickup or SUV and come have fun.

New this year, we will have a Chili dinner Friday night at Lodge 18. Saturday we will ride some of the best roads that Louisiana has to offer with a lunch stop at Grayson'S BBQ joint in Clarence. CLICK HERE FOR OUR CAJUN CHRISTMAS MAPS PAGE Saturday night we will have our Christmas party and cookout at Lodge 18 featuring huge Hamburgers, Cajun Sausage, Hotdogs, and Gumbo and refreshnents. BYOL or beer!. The festivities will conclude with the Cajun Gift exchange . Meals are $11.00 each (Friday and Saturday nights). Online Pre-registration is now open! CLICK TO REGISTER and/or PRE-PAY. Cajun Gift Exchange

The gift exchange is fun to watch, even if you do not choose to participate. Participation requires a gift from each participant, suggested vale is $10-$15. (NOTE: A sense of humor is absolutely required). This is how it works:

Purchase and wrap a gift (not a gag gift) valued at around $15, but do not identify it with a "To" or "From." We will pick numbers from # through # (however many people participate). THE PERSON WHO GETS #1 IS THE REALLY SPECIAL PERSON FOR THE NIGHT. He/she gets to choose first any gift from the stack, and later gets to make the FINAL gift choice. Person #2 can either "steal" #1's gift or choose a wrapped gift from the stack. Person #3 can "steal" #1's or #2's gift or choose a gift from the stack...and so on. Once a gift has been "stolen" three times, it is considered "dead" and is no longer available ­ WITH ONLY ONE EXCEPTION: After the last person has taken his/her turn, THE PERSON HOLDING #1 MAY "STEAL" ANY GIFT FROM ANYONE, EVEN IF IT WAS PREVIOUSLY PRONOUNCED "DEAD" BECAUSE IT WAS "STOLEN" THREE TIMES, EXCHANGING HIS/HER GIFT FOR THIS FINAL CHOICE. With this last exchange, the activity ends. From experience, we know that rules/procedures may become unpopular when one is clinging to a "beloved" gift. Please remember that our only purpose in stating them months ahead of time is promote fairness and equity, consistency, and fun. Don't worry. Your friendships will survive.
